LGBTQI+ Virtual Information Session

Event details

Event Date: 31/07/2024

Event Time: 6pm to 6.45pm

Event Organiser: LCF Hub

Can I foster if I am gay and single?

I am trans, what type of possibly invasive questions are asked during an assessment?

What support can I get if the young person I am fostering is questioning their sexuality or their gender identity?

We believe in equality and celebrate diversity in all its forms. So no matter how you identify, we’re excited to receive your application and welcome you into fostering. However, we know there are many misconceptions around fostering for those who are part of the LGBTQ+ community, and we want to clear any doubt you might have.

Join our information session to find out more about fostering. You’ll be able to hear from one of our amazing foster carers and ask your questions to our expert advisors.
