Are you curious about becoming a Foster Carer, but need support with the process?
The Open College Network offers an 11-week accredited course where you will learn about:
- The role of the Foster Carer
- The skills needed to become a Foster Carer
- Child development and attachment
- Supporting children’s learning
- Supporting children’s health and wellbeing
- Keeping children safe from harm
To help you understand if this course is right for you and if you meet the eligibility criteria, come along to one of Tower Hamlets fostering information sessions at The Parents Advice Centre, 30 Greatorex Street, E1 5NP
